TIPD, LLC was founded in 2006 to commercialize the photonics research and development generated by Dr. Nasser Peyghambarian's group at the College of Optical Sciences at the University of Arizona.  TIPD’s operational strategy is focused on development and manufacturing of photonic systems and devices. TIPD has two facilities:  a purpose-built facility near the University of Arizona with more than 5,300 sq. ft. of laboratory space, and a 1,060 sq. f. research facility in Oceanside, CA office.   In addition, TIPD, LLC has an established relationship with the University of Arizona and an exclusive license agreement regarding key intellectual property.
